This gorgeous salt comes from the Mediterranean coast in the area around Sicily, Italy. Those salt pans were on the ancient salt road and have been providing highly sought after salts for centuries.
This salt presents as sharply salty/ briny up front and finishes with a salty, buttery-ness reminiscent of well-salted, buttered popcorn.
As a finishing salt, it's an outstanding choice for grilled proteins and veggies, especially anything sauteed with butter!
