Commonly known as pink peppercorns, these pink not-so-peppercorns are actually berries from a bush that grows on the coast of Brazil. That bush was brought to the U.S.A. and was subsequently determined to be an Environmental Pest Plant (EPP for short). So, unfortunately the best crops of these deliciously zesty and fruity berries still come from offshore.
All the pepper flavor without the pepper heat. Enjoy the sweet, citrusy flavor as uniquely peppery... and not.
